These are the final pics of Astorath the Grim that I painted up for a friend for Christmas.  It made it there in one piece and he loved it.  I'm fairly happy with the way that it came out. I am always trying different techniques and trying to improve my painting.  Next up.....The Butcher of Khardov.

Xmas Project: Astorath the Grim Progress

I've started to pick out some of the details and paint the face.  This is a really fun model to paint and the more I look at it the more I appreciate the sculpt.  I'm really new to photographing models and I'm having a little trouble capturing it in the correct light.  I need to do some research online for some tips I guess.
